Course Description

This self-paced course provides a practical introduction to the higher education landscape, helping learners understand how postsecondary institutions in the United States are organized, who does what, how decisions are made, and where online, professional, and continuing education fits within the broader enterprise.

Through short readings, videos, knowledge checks, and applied activities, participants will develop a foundational understanding of higher education and the language commonly used across the field.
