Course Description
This one-week, hands-on course introduces participants to the practical application of artificial intelligence in course design. Learners will explore foundational AI concepts, examine ethical considerations and intellectual property issues, and evaluate how AI is shaping teaching and learning in higher education.
Through guided activities and discussions, learners will apply AI tools to design course content, develop assessments, and enhance student engagement. The course emphasizes real-world use, helping participants build strategies for integrating AI into their own instructional contexts while planning for continuous improvement as technologies evolve.
Focused, Hands-On Learning
This accelerated AI Lab combines practical activities, peer discussion, and two synchronous sessions within one week. Participants will test tools and approaches they can adapt to their own course development, instructional design, and faculty support work.
