Course Intro - Engage (Zoom) Meeting - Wednesday 02/24/2021 at 1:00-2:00 PM (Eastern)

02/24/2021 at 1:00 PM (EST)  |  Recorded On: 02/24/2021 During our first call, we’ll do some introductions, go over the design and pacing of the course, and share our past experiences with program planning. In this and all Zoom calls we’ll follow ‘Vegas Rules’ (what happens in the zoom room stays in the zoom room) - we will talk more about that during our session. While our session will be recorded, in the event someone is unable to join our scheduled time, I expect everyone to treat our conversations as sacrosanct - not sharing or citing them in any way to those outside the course. Join the class for a live video-conferencing session. Participants are advised to access the session 5 to 10 minutes prior to the start time to ensure their technology is configured and working properly. Make 1 discussion post to continue. Research has shown that establishing social presence and a sense of community supports participants’ feelings of satisfaction and learning in online environments (as a long time online learning professional I am compelled to write that). Please post a 150-300 word bio introducing yourself to your colleagues. Feel free to use one you may have crafted for a previous UPCEA Online PD course.
